- Harner expresses in his talk how important is to know different ways to show students they made a mistake, as well as how to know what is wrong.
- Likewise, for example, for written tasks, the author says how difficult it is for teachers to assess students without the student present, the teacher must guess what the student could have said.
- Using "very good" with our students, or even in our daily life closes the conversation, since the phrase doesn't give space to go deeper into the idea.
- We as teachers must go beyond correction, and go to FEEDBACK, it is more relevant for the students.
- Corrections of feedback, immediately or after the class? The idea is to find a place in the middle.

Resources and Materials
For class 3, October 19th, it was suggested some readings and videos. The one that got my attention was the video from Jeremy Harner about error correction: "Does correction work?" Next we will find, some of Harner's ideas from the video:
What to do....
October 27th
At the end of the course, and also the micro-teaching by my classmates, there are some reflections about the things we can do, and the other things we must avoid.
The micro-teaching was a rewarding experience since it made me look closer to my role as a teacher, and it put the lens on my teaching practices. With my classmate's help, in their comments and feedback, along with my teacher, I can conclude:

Things to do:
- Keep eye contact
- Think about our body gesture
- Make it simple
- Use a good tone of voice
- Be secure
- Create curiosity in my students, as a "... to be continued..."
- Use graphic organizers
- Use images
- Use colors
- Give clear examples
Not do to:
- Say something is important or relevant
- Lean on the wall
- Have notes
- Avoid elaborate language
- Don't give the back to the class
- Don't write so much on the board
- Avoid "hawking" during the class (carraspear)

Micro-teaching
Ana María just taught a class about the differences and similarities about Sadness and Depression. She said that being sad is a normal reaction for any situation, that can be triggered by a difficulty of by a special event in our lives, and it fades away quickly. They have in common is that they are emotional pains, and are related to feelings, but depression is a mental health issue, can be genetic and can have biochemical factors.
Classroom Managment
October 19th.
In this class, it got my attention when the teacher told us all about Classroom Managment. These ideas are really relevant to what we do every day in our classes since they allow us to have appropriate classroom environments. All of them are:
Gesture
Grouping
Classroom arrangement
Using the student's name
Teacher's position
The voice
Eye contact
Rapport
Writing on the board
Giving individual attention
Teacher talking time Vs Student talking time
Maintain discipline
Giving clear instructions
Respond to problem behavior
Prevent problem behavior

"Contra las excusas..... creatividad!"
October 20th
Professor Ruben showed a video that explained an experience from a school in Argentina, the story was about a teacher anguished and sad because she didn't know what to do for the students, she said that she was waiting for the materials and all the tools for her class, so that's why she couldn't do anything. One day an attendant for the government saw her and helped her out to teach the class using only a cork he saw on her desk.... but later on... the teacher went back to her old habits because she didn't learn what was most important...
Creativity should be one of the teachers biggest qualities, we must be ready to develop classes without many resources... After the video, it came into my mind one story I saw online, about a Ghanaian teacher who uses a blackboard to explain software to their students, who had to present an exam that included questions on communication technology...
Many things happened after these pictures were viral... but what has moved me, was the CREATIVITY in this teacher's mind, and how is he helping his community to become a better one.
"I wanted them to know or see how the window will appear if they were to be behind a computer," Akoto told CNN. "Always wanted them to have interest in the subject so I always do my possible best for them."

Didactics
October 6th
_________________________
Didactics: Art of teaching, the relationship between teaching and learning, the teacher makes easier the things for the students.
Types of students / Safe learning environment
October 5th
Three types of student...
- The know-it-all. These students know the answers, manage the topic and they are eager to participate.
- The silent ones. The students who know the answer, but they prefer to remain quiet.
- Don't know anything. The students don't know the answer, and yet they stay in silence.
Safe learning environment
The classroom should be a place for students to feel comfortable and relaxed, whey they can express their ideas without fear and with the certainty of being respected by their classmates as well as the teacher.
